Strefa Rekinów was created from a genuine passion for classic BMWs. Behind the company stands Marcin Cybulski — entrepreneur, collector and automotive enthusiast, deeply connected for many years with models such as the E30, E24 and E28. A member of Mensa Polska, devoted husband and father of two children, who also enjoys amateur drifting in his spare time.
Despite studying highly analytical fields such as theoretical physics and nanostructure engineering, he decided to pursue his professional path as an entrepreneur, building his own brand focused on restoration, modifications and parts for classic BMW models. His first experience came from working on his own E30 and E28 projects, while the passion developed over the years eventually became the foundation of Strefa Rekinów.
The company’s most recognizable project is the BMW 338is — a unique E30 powered by the legendary S38B38 engine from the BMW M5, built in a distinctive stance-inspired style. The car has been recognized by organizers of some of the biggest automotive events in Poland and across Europe, including Ultrace, Dub It, Stance Xperience and Take a Stance.
For Strefa Rekinów, automotive culture is much more than just a hobby. For many years, Marcin has driven exclusively classic BMWs — both for everyday use and long family road trips, regardless of the season.
Besides the E30 338is, the garage also includes a turbocharged E24 M6, an E30 Alpina B6 2.7 and an E24 635CSi. During winter, however, the all-wheel-drive E30 325ix proves to be the most practical choice. When heading to the track, it also takes on the role of a tow car, pulling a trailer carrying the drift car — naturally, another E30.
Today, Strefa Rekinów focuses primarily on supplying parts for classic BMW models such as the E30, E24 and E28, while simultaneously developing a rental business specializing in vans, car transporters and trailer rentals. After hours, work continues on another custom project — a BMW E30 powered by a 5.0 V8 engine from the E39 M5.
